How do we feel this week in Nursery? ☀️🌈

Children in the sunshine room were exploring what makes them happy and what connects them through a fun game.

It’s been a busy and fun-filled week in Inshes ELC this week. For children’s mental health week, the children at Inshes have really enjoyed exploring their feelings through a variety of activities including stories, mask-making and games.

This is an angry face! We discussed what might have made him angry and had lots of good ideas to share such as our brothers stealing our toys and not getting something we wanted.

Children have enjoyed exploring movement both inside and out this week. Some children in the rainbow room enjoyed playing an imaginative crocodile game. They developed their own rules and happily shared the game with others 🐊

This makes us feel really tired!
We feel proud when we can balance the ball
We love playing hide and seek. Our friends will feel really surprised to find us hiding here!
The green boxes are the crocodiles. When the bell rings the crocodile catchers need to quickly jump onto the ship 🚢 The crocodile catchers feel brave and scared!
I feel happy!

We love playdough in inshes ELC. We developed fine motor control by adding lots of bits and bobs to our playgough and creating some interesting shapes and objects. We really enjoyed singing and feeling calm as we carried out this activity.
