Shapes and Snow ☃️

P2 were delighted to welcome so many parents to our open afternoons this week. The children enjoyed sharing their learning and were thrilled to go home with their Read, Write, Count book bags.

This week we were also lucky enough to have a visit from author and illustrator Corrina Campbell. She read us her book “The Boy Who Rescued a Rainbow” and showed us how to draw an alpaca. Have a look at our brilliant alpacas below. Thank you to the library for organising this for us.

This week we also looked at the ou, ue and ar digraphs. In our maths we’ve been exploring different 2d shapes and had a go drawing shapes in the snow. We also enjoyed learning about where around the world the foods we eat come from as part of our food topic.
