We have had a very busy couple of weeks in primary 6/7. Both the primary sixes and the primary sevens have had their learning assemblies. The primary sixes did their learning assembly based on pollution and the primary sevens did their assembly on St Andrew’s day. Both of the assemblies were fantastic and the pupils worked very hard on their parts of the assembly.
We had the pantomime visit us last Friday (15/11/24). The production was fantastic and the pupils enjoyed the performance. The primary sevens sat with the primary one pupils and the primary sixes were with the nursery pupils. It was lovely to see our class helping the younger pupils in the school.

We had an author visit on Monday morning, the author explained her illustrations and shared her passion for reading. The pupils were able to draw illustrations on their whiteboards, the class enjoyed the activity.

The primary sevens had their transition day to Millburn Academy, we had a great day. The pupils were able to explore different subjects in the school, they were: PE, Home Economics, Languages and English. The primary sevens will return to Millburn in December for their ceilidh.
Next Thursday (28/11/24), the primary sevens have their St Andrew’s fundraising ceilidh for their trip to Badaguish. It would be great to see as many families there as possible! the ceilidh is on from 7pm-8.30pm at the school.
Thank you to everyone who attended the open afternoons, it was great to see so many family members in the classroom!
